Fluid painting - dirty pour

After many years I tried this fluid painting technicque that I used to love. I almost forgot how much fun it is and I really enjoyed creating a couple of pieces. But since you need large quantities of paint here, I had to stop until I get new set of paints.

I can hardly wait :D

But let's start at the beginning, for example: what an expression "dirty pour" means? It's a phrase that is commonly used among artists and means a technique where paints of different colours are poured in a cup that is slightly shaken so the colours start to work together. After that the paints are poured from the cup to prepared surface which is tilted until a desired look is achieved.

I used oil based acrylic paints, not the artistic brand, but simply paints that are used for metal protection. I only bought basic colours: yellow, red, blue and white. They don't need mixing with any mediums to flow properly and to create cells, but I have to warn you you'll need a solvent to clean them away and they have a very strong smell so it's better to work with them outside or in really well ventilated space.

For my first pour (above) I used my paints in order: white, yellow, blue, red, white. And for the one below: white, yellow, red, blue.

What do you think? Would yo like to see how I made it? I already have a couple of custom orders, so I could make a short tutorial about it.

.....
